LASER GUM DISEASE TREATMENT

Moderate to serious cases of gum and bone (periodontal) disease benefit from laser therapy treatment, a minimally invasive and effective way of improving oral health because it is:

• less invasive than traditionally used therapies and involves no cutting or stitches
• virtually painless healing and causes no swelling
• removes infalmmation, infection and bacteria like no other method can
• heals faster, meaning less discomfort and no need to take time off work

LASER GUM LIFTS AND CROWN LENGTHENING

Teeth are not the only part of what makes a great smile – gums and lips also make a difference.

Sometimes gum levels need to be corrected before veneers, onlays or crowns are made – particularly where teeth have been broken or filled below the gum line. Typically this involves cutting and stitching the gum, then waiting six to eight weeks for it to heal before further work can be done.

LASER FILLINGS, CROWNS AND ONLAYS

Where possible we use lasers for smaller new fillings and often to decontaminate the deep layers of dentine before large restorations as well as to recontour soft tissue (gingiva/gums)  around deep restorations (filling or crowns) to enahnce precesion, longevity and health.
